Viloria, 7 during a celebration welcoming the members of the 36th Medical Group, from the 36th Wing and the U.S. Navy Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25, stationed at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Sergeant Viloria returned to Andersen AFB, Guam following a 72-day deployment aboard the USNS Mercy where she participated in theater security cooperation and medical assistance missions in partnership with non-governmental organizations, international military medical personnel and host nations of the Philippines, Bangladesh, Indonesia and East Timor. Wake Island evacuates as super typhoon bears down
WAKE ISLAND -- A Hickam Air Force Base C-17 Globemaster cargo jet belonging to the 535th Airlift Squadron prepared to leave the tarmac at Wake Island yesterday after 104 people strapped in for the four-hour flight to Hawaii. Arctic Thunder

OSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Lt Gen Garry R. Trexler, commander of 7th AF and USFK Air Component Commander greets Provincial Governor Kim, Moon Soo the newly inaugurated governor of Gyeonggi Province. Hester visists Chinese Chamber of Commerce
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- General Paul V. Hester, commander, Pacific Air Forces receives a commemorative book from Don Ho, Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The book details the history of the famed “Flying Tigers” and 14th Air Force under the command of Maj. Gen. Claire Chennault and is signed by a Chinese ground crew member living in China. The General spoke to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii Thursday regarding the importance of diplomatic relationships in the Pacific and with China in particular.
