Kathleen McCool, 5th Air Force command chief, shares her personal opinions about a book titled, “I Am Malala,” during Pacific Air Forces’ first Women’s, Peace, and Security symposium, hosted from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, March 31, 2021. The book is about a fifteen year old girl who was nearly killed after being shot in the head at point-blank range while speaking out about girl’s rights to education. U.S. Air Force communication personnel from the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Directorate of Air and Cyberspace Operations and the 291st Combat Communications Squadron participate in a subject matter expert exchange with communication personnel from the Philippine Air Force 950th Communications, Electronics and Information Systems Group during Bilateral Air Contingent Exchange-Philippines (BACE-P) at Cesar Basa Air Base, Philippines, January 30, 2019. The exchange included a demonstration of operation and installation of a satellite terminal as well as the ability to extend network services from a home base to an austere location. This is the seventh iteration of BACE-P established by U.S. Pacific Command and executed by Headquarters PACAF.
