U.S., PAF Communications Specialists Exchange Best Practices

Philippine Air Force Maj. Eric Pua, deputy group commander, 950th Communication Electronic Information Systems Group, places a patch onto U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Lawson Kobayashi, 291st Combat Communication Squadron Cyber Transport Systems journeyman, upon completion of a subject matter expert exchange during Bilateral Air Contingent Exchange-Philippines (BACE-P) at Cesar Basa Air Base, Philippines, January 30, 2019. The exchange included a demonstration of how to operate and install a satellite terminal as well as how to extend network services from a home base to an austere location. This is the seventh iteration of BACE-P established by U.S. Pacific Command and executed by Headquarters Pacific Air Forces. These bilateral exchanges increase interoperability and deepen relationships between the two allied air forces. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Rachel Maxwell)
