After he takes the first selfie with a joyful teenage visitor, a line of adults, adolescents and children form a line around him, all of them patiently waiting their turn to take a photo with him.

    United States and Australian air force units supported joint operations as part of the Royal Australian Air Force Air Warfare Instructor Course (AWIC) during Diamond Shield 2019. Similar to weapons school for U.S. Air Force pilots, the AWIC trains Airmen on valuable tactics, techniques and procedures. Diamond Shield provides an opportunity for AWIC students to integrate with U.S. Air Force assets and Airmen.

    A-10 Thunderbolt IIs from the 25th Fighter Squadron landed at Clark Air Base, Philippines, March 29, 2019, for Exercise Balikatan. Balikatan is an annual exercise between the U.S. and the Philippines and comes from a Tagalog phrase meaning "shoulder-to-shoulder," representing the partnership between the two countries. The exercise helps maintain a high level of readiness and responsiveness, and it enhances combined military-to-military relations and capabilities.
