US Space Force Indo-Pacific commander meets with Japan Air Self-Defense Force members

U.S. Space Force Brig. Gen. Anthony J. Mastalir, U.S. Space Forces Indo-Pacific commander, and Chief Master Sgt. Leomel I. Abueg, U.S. Space Force Indo-Pacific Component-Field Command Senior Enlisted Leader, met with Japan Air Self-Defense Force Col. Ajiki Toshihide, staff of the Commander of the Space Operations Group and Lt. Col. Hirano, Space Operations, Information and Network Communication Systems, to further integrate our JASDF partners into operations and capabilities of U.S. Space Forces in the Pacific region, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, November 28, 2023. The U.S. and Japan will continue to seek modernization efforts, enhance integrated deterrence through space security initiatives, and reinforce interoperability though joint exercises, training, and space education.
