51 LRS maximizes warfighter support with vehicle validation

R-11 refueling vehicles can deliver 6,000 gallons of fuel to aircraft which allows pilots to execute various aerial missions. Fleet vehicles such as refuelers go through a validation process every three to five years to ensure its utilization meets U.S. Air Force standards and continue to support the 51st Fighter Wing mission.
