U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. John Adams, 36th Airlift Squadron (AS) C-130H navigator, sets up drop zone indicator lights at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 11, 2017, during jump week. U.S. Marines with the 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force conducted week-long jump training from a U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules, assigned to the 36th AS. The training not only allowed the Marines to practice jumping, but it also allowed the Yokota aircrews to practice flight tactics and time-package drops.
