The Pacific Integrated Air and Missile Defense Center sponsored its first “Brownbag Lunch” educational event April 2, 2015, gathering 55 IAMD professionals together to participate in an informative discussion on AEGIS capabilities and limitations. The multiservice audience represented IAMD specialists island-wide from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, Missile Defense Agency and Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization. AEGIS experts from U.S. Navy Pacific Fleet headquarters led the dialogue covering maritime IAMD resources, their abilities and limits, and how the Navy interacts with other PACOM IAMD elements.
