Acting SECAF visits JBPHH, attends F-111 dedication ceremony

Air Marshal Geoffrey Brown, Royal Australian Air Force Chief of Air Force, addresses attendees at the F-111C dedication ceremony, at the Pacific Aviation Museum, Ford Island, Hawaii, Nov. 23, 2013. The aircraft was marked with Brown’s name, the plane’s former pilot who played a key role in the development and modernization of the F-111 fleet for the RAAF. Brown has more than 5,000 hours in military aircraft. Australia is one of the closest U.S. allies and the strategic importance of that relationship will only expand as Pacific Air Forces looks to the Royal Australian Air Force as a key partner in theater strategy and engagement planning.
