COLUMBUS AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. - General Paul V. Hester, commander Pacific Air Forces, congratulates Japan Air Self Defense Force 1st Lt Masakazu Kamimura, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan, after receiving his USAF silver wings. Former Chief of Air Force, Major General Lim Kim Choon, was presented with the United States' Legion of Merit. The award was conferred by the Commander of the Pacific Air Force, General Paul V. Hester, during his visit to Singapore. The Legion of Merit award recogizes General Lim's efforts in strengthening the close relationship between the United States Air Force and the Republic of Singapore Air Force, during his service as CAF from April 2001 to March 2006.
