HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- The Pacific Air Forces 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year have been selected and will compete at the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command and Air Force level for the 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year.
COLUMBUS AIR FORCE BASE, Miss. - General Paul V. Hester, commander Pacific Air Forces, congratulates Japan Air Self Defense Force 1st Lt Masakazu Kamimura, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan, after receiving his USAF silver wings. General Hester addressed the Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training Class 06-15 during a graduation ceremony. He also met and spoke with local leaders. (Air Force photo by Senior Airman John Parie)
Former Chief of Air Force, Major General Lim Kim Choon, was presented with the United States' Legion of Merit. The award was conferred by the Commander of the Pacific Air Force, General Paul V. Hester, during his visit to Singapore. The Legion of Merit award recogizes General Lim's efforts in strengthening the close relationship between the United States Air Force and the Republic of Singapore Air Force, during his service as CAF from April 2001 to March 2006.
MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- A customer at the post office here, Maj. Regina Agee (left), is helped at the service counter by Staff Sgt. Jason Williams, 35th Communications Squadron finance postal clerk, who ensures that all packages are properly addressed and weighed.
