A Hawaiian Aloha for F-22 Raptors

U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye speaks at the F-22 Arrival Ceremony July 9, 2010, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Senator Inouye was on hand to help usher in a new era between the Hawaii Air National Guard and Active Duty Air Force. The arrival of the F-22 Raptor marks the beginning of a new associate unit between the 154th Wing, Hawaii Air National Guard, and the 15th Wing, active duty Air Force. This is the first time an F-22 Raptor associate unit will be led by the Guard. The Raptor represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities for U.S. forces in the Pacific.
