Delgerkhaan, Mongolia - U.S. Air Force veterinarian, Maj. (Dr.) Douglas Riley of 13th Air Force, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii watches as Mongolian Armed Forces veterinarian, Capt. Giantugs Gialtmaa examines a sick cow at a dairy farm in Ulziit, Mongolia, while in Mongolia on July 21 in support of Pacific Angel-Mongolia, a 13th Air Force led combined humanitarian assistance operation. This is the fourth year of Pacific Angel, but the first time the operation has been hosted n Mongolia. The operation helps cultivate common bonds and foster goodwill between the United States, Mongolia and other regional nations. In addition to veterinary training, a clinic is being refurbished and medical outreach events are being held in Ondorkhan, Delgerkhaan and Tsenkhermandal soums of the Hentii province from July 18-23.
