54th National Security Forum
MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Jean E. Rolles (second from far right) , member of Pacific Air Forces' Air Force Civilian Advisory Council, attended the 54th National Security Forum here May 14-18. Ms. Rolles, vice president of community affairs for Outrigger Enterprises in Honolulu, attended at the invitation of Gen. Paul V. Hester, commander of PACAF. The Forum is sponsored by the Secretary of the Air Force and is hosted by the Air War College under AIr University. It is an opportunity for AWC students to interact with a broad cross-section of civilian leaders from various industries.

HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Brig. Gen. Tanker Snyder, Pacific Air Forces Director of Strategic Plans, Programs and International Affairs, provided the year's second quarterly PACAF update briefing to the Air Force Civilian Advisory Council. Airmen wrap up live radio series
HONOLULU, Hawaii – Senior Airman Becky Borchert, 15 Aeromedical Dental Squadron, and Tech. Sgt. Adam Vizi, 25th Air Support Operations Squadron, shared the Air Force stories to Hawaii listeners live on the Mike Buck Show on KHVH AM 830 May 31. The Airmen wrapped up a series of live radio interviews alongside Chief Master Sgt. Tony Bishop, command chief master sergeant of Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). A total of 14 Airmen went live on morning and afternoon shows on KHVH throughout the month of May in support of Hawaii Military Appreciation Month, including Gen. Paul V. Airmen seek "Waikiki Sunrise"
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Artist Keith Ferris autographs a copy of his painting "Waikiki Sunrise" for Capt. David Chun at Pacific Air Forces Headquarters May 23. "Waikiki Sunrise" depicts a new era in airlift for the Pacific -- the first C-17 Globemaster III squadron based outside the continental United States. This is Mr. Ferris' 59th contribution to the Air Force Art Collection over the course of 46 years. The painting will be kept here on permanent display in the PACAF headquarters. Hickam Air Force Base remembers attack on Oahu
Members from the 15th Airlift Wing base honor guard commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Dec. 7, 1941 surprise Japanese attack at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii Dec. 7, 2006. The base held a ceremony at the base flagpole to honor the attack on then Hickam Field, which left 189 dead and 303 wounded. New C-37A arrives at Hickam AFB
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- Air Force and Navy members greet the Pacific Fleet’s C-37A upon its arrival here November 18. The plane will be used to transport Admiral Gary Roughead, Pacific Fleet Commander. Airmen kick off Wingman Day
KADENA AIR BASE, Okinawa -- Brig. Gen. Punch Moulton, commander of the 18th Wing at Kadena AB, Okinawa, talks to Airmen of the 18th Logistics Readiness Squadron during the unveiling of the ZZ13 NASCAR-type car, to kick off Wingman Day, Wednesday Nov. 22, 2006. The focus of Wingman Day is to promote teamwork, safety and a culture of responsible choices. The 18th Services Squadron sponsored vehicle was built by volunteers from the 18 LRS and 18 SVS. The once DRMO-bound rusted cop car was transformed into the showcase piece of the ZZ13 campaign. ZZ13 is similar to the 0013 program adopted by Air Force bases around the world.
