AFSO 21; Elmendorf unit saves thousands
ELMENDORF AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Senior Airman Jeri Thompson, 3rd Equipment Maintenance Squadron Nondestructive Inspection Laboratory technician, studies a digital x-ray from an aircraft part. EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska--Volunteers Althea St. Martin, Brig. Gen. Dave Scott, 354th Fighter Wing commander, Billie Blanchard, Steve Lundgren and Dave Gardner unveil a Community Partnership Day 2006 commemorative stone in front of Eielson’s new visitors center. The stone was donated by the Military Affairs Committee and will rest prominently in front of the building’s flagpole. ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam – ‘Mission Planning’ – Captain Bob Bryant, 13th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron B-2 Spirit pilot, adds notes to a mission planning – or “grease” – board in the bomber operations center at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, July 10. The captain is one of approximately 35 Airmen, from the 13th Bomb Squadron and the 509th Operations Support Staff, Whiteman AFB, Mo., who arrived here June 29-30 for a two-month deployment. The deployment of B-2 aircraft and personnel to Andersen AFB is to provide the U.S. Pacific Command commander a continuous bomber presence in the Asia-Pacific region. (USAF Photo by Tech. Sgt. Local TV highlights PACAF band
HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Members of the Pacific Air Forces Band, Hana Hou (Hawaiin for One More Time) perform patriotic music July 4th on Honolulu TV station KHNL, the local NBC affiliate.
