Baucau, Timor-Leste ? An elderly patient tries to read an eye chart before seeing the optometrists on 19 Sept. 2011 for PACIFIC ANGEL 11-02: Timor-Leste at Tri-Loca Primary School. On the first day, members deployed on behalf of 13th Air Force serviced over 600 patients, extracting 96 teeth, filling 800 prescriptions and issuing 218 paris of glasses. The Falintil For?as de Defesa de Timor-Leste, U.S. Air Force and Australian International Stabilization Forces are conducting PACIFIC ANGEL 11-02: Timor-Leste, a joint humanitarian and civic-military operation at the childrens school. PACIFIC ANGEL consists of several concurrent civil-military assistance activities including medical programs consisting of: dental, optometry, women?s health, general medicine, engineering programs and subject matter expert exchanges in public health education and veterinary education. 2011 Pacific Rim Senior Enlisted Leader Conference
