Pacific Air Forces Commander speaks at AFCEA Conference
Gen. Paul Hester, Pacific Air Forces Commander, spoke to an audience of 350 military, government civilians and corporate officials, at the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association Conference at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki, HI, Nov. 8. His speech focused on technological innovations and how these innovations enable worldwide operations. The event marked AFCEA’s 21st annual TechNet Asia–Pacific Hawaiian Conference and Exposition taking place 6-9 Nov. China's People's Liberation Army

Honoring our Heritage, Airman returns 65 years after Japanese attack
HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- After 65 years, Raymond D. Stehle returns to Oahu, Hawaii, to remember the attack on Dec 7, 1941, and share his story with his family. Mr. Stehle was a U.S. Army Private stationed at Bellows Army Air Field during the attack and later served as a B-24 bomber navigator, flying 36 combat missions in the Pacific.
