U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Eric Rister, an avionics technician deployed from Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, unscrews a panel on an A-10C Thunderbolt II after the aircraft completed a mission flying in the vicinity of Scarborough Shoal April 21, 2016. The aircraft can be serviced and operated from bases with varied facilities, additionally; many of its parts are interchangeable left and right, including the engines, main landing gear and vertical stabilizers.
