18 LRS FARP Team Refuels…Anyplace, Anytime, Anywhere
An MC-130H Combat Talon II assigned to the 1st Special Operations Squadron (SOS) idles on the flightline during a Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP) exercise at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Aug. 10, 2016. Members assigned to the 18th Logistics Readiness Squadron FARP team practiced loading, unloading and deploying a forward area manifold cart, allowing ground based hot refueling from a Combat Talon II. FARP operations enable aircraft from other units and sister services to refuel no matter the time or location. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Peter Reft)
