ROK, U.S. conduct large scale F-16 aerial maneuvers for Freedom Flag 24-1

The U.S. and Republic of Korea ai forces conducted large scale aerial maneuvers as part of Freedom Flag 24-1, Oct. 31, 2024.

During the training, four U.S. F-16 Fighting Falcons flew in formation with four ROK F-16s, conducting a planned show-of-force mission.

FF 24-1 is a combined, large force flying exercise that strengthens the U.S. relationship with the ROK and international partners through large scale, integrated training on advanced, high-end tactics Oct. 21 to Nov. 1, 2024.

The training demonstrations the United States’ ironclad commitment to the ROK-U.S. Alliance. The progression of Air Force training to a flag-level event enables leaders to train forces in scalable scenario to best defend against current threats.

The ROK-U.S. Alliance’s resolve has never been stronger; we continue to fortify the alliance in terms of capability and commitment.
