US Marine Corps F-35B Lightning IIs land at Andersen

On May 8th and 9th U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II assigned to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 214, Marine Aircraft Group 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing landed on a flightline at Andersen Air Force Base. The event occurred during a Trans-Pacific flight route to Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindall, Australia. VMFA-214 flew a detachment of F-35B Lightning IIs from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona to Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindall, Australia to train alongside allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
