United States service members will participate in Northern Edge 2023-2, a joint field training exercise at various locations in the Pacific region from July 2-21, 2023.

This will be the first time the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command exercise has taken the training program normally conducted in Alaska to alternate locations in the region, including a Joint Exercise Control Group operating from Hawaii. It will deliver interoperability challenges across joint, multinational and multi-domain operations in order to provide high-end, realistic training to enhance the readiness of participating forces.

The participants have come together to showcase the possibilities of multilateral cooperation to advance interoperability and grow shared capabilities.
