Units from the United States, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Republic of Singapore Air Forces will participate in the 27th iteration of Exercise Cope Tiger March 16-31, 2023 at Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.

The exercise is expected to include approximately 150 U.S. service members along with service members from Thailand and Singapore.

The trilateral exercise will involve a combined total of approximately 70 aircraft to develop greater interoperability. Cope Tiger is an annual aerial exercise meant to improve readiness and the ability of participating forces to operate together, while enhancing military relations and combined capabilities. Participating service members have the unique opportunity to fly in the airspace over Thailand and train with air defense artillery units.

Cope Tiger participants will gain valuable training through combined tactical fighter operations and subject matter expert exchanges. Strengthening Alliances and partnerships to ensure regional peace and prosperity remains a priority for the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and Pacific Air Forces.

The U.S. has participated in the Cope Tiger exercise series since 1994.
