AFA President meets COMPACAF in preparation for AFA

HICKAM AIR FORCE BASE, Hawaii -- U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Bruce Wright, president of the Air Force Association, recently met with U.S. Air Force Gen. Ken Wilsbach, commander of Pacific Air Forces for an office call, here July 8.

The key mission of AFA is to promote dominant U.S. Air and Space Forces as the foundation for strong national defense. The organization educates the public on the critical need for unrivaled aerospace power and advocates and supports Airmen, Guardians and families of the Total Air Force and Space Force.

Wilsbach and Wright will attend the upcoming 2022 Air, Space & Cyber Conference September 19-21. The theme of this year’s conference is “America’s Air & Space Forces – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (75 Years in the Defense of Our Nation), where Wilsbach was invited as a guest speaker.

PACAF, in coordination with other components, allies, and partners, provides USINDOPACOM with continuous unrivaled air, space, and cyberspace capabilities to safeguard a free and open Indo-Pacific while simultaneously ensuring regional stability and security. Events such as these are used by PACAF to engage, inform and educate the American public on how PACAF utilizes Air and Space Forces personnel and programs contribute to national security.
