Your knight in shining armor

The pictured “knight in shining armor” is a free-hand creation drawn by U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Kelly Coats, a 35th Operations Support Squadron airfield manager, who serves at Misawa Air Base, Japan. Coats drew the pictured art many years ago prior to joining the Air Force when living with her sister, Kristy, in Glendale, Arizona. Her sister provided comfort and mentorship early in her life, eventually influencing her decision to join the Air Force as Kristy served as a security forces member before separating from the service to be closer with family.
