Christopher Meinhart, an Obstetrician Gynecologist (OBGYN) with the 35th Medical Group at Misawa Air Base, Japan, assists doctors, midwives and nurse practitioners from Quang Nam province, Vietnam, with techniques used during difficult deliveries on a labor simulator during a subject matter exchange as part of Pacific Angel (PACANGEL) 17-2 in Tam Ky, Vietnam, Sept. 6, 2017. Since 2007, PACANGEL engagements have impacted the lives of tens of thousands of people through providing health services ranging from dental, optometry, pediatrics and physical therapy to civil engineering programs, humanitarian aid and disaster relief and subject matter exchanges.
