Medical team members from No 1 Expeditionary Health Squadron participate in Medical team members from No 1 Expeditionary Health Squadron and the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) participate in scenarios in their Role 2 forward medical treatment facility as part of Exercise Viper Walk 2024. *** Local Caption *** Army�s 2nd Health Battalion recently conducted Exercise Viper Walk, an opportunity to rehearse the land-based trauma system (LBTS) and the largest collective training exercise run within 2nd Health Brigade in 2024. The exercise included Australian Air Force and New Zealand Defence Force health personnel. The exercise consisted of learning activity and training scenarios designed to develop and demonstrate the readiness of 2nd Health Battalion to operate through the LBTS - providing patient treatment and evacuation from the point of injury through to the Role 2 Enhanced facility and preparation for strategic evacuation.

Pacific Air Forces delivers COVID-19 mitigation supplies to assist Timor-Leste
U.S. Air Force Airmen in the Indo-Pacific partnered with the U.S. Embassy Timor-Leste to deliver medical supplies to assist with the mitigation of Covid-19. A large part of the support in prepping and delivering 109 boxes of supplies was performed by Airmen assigned to the 374th Airlift Wing out of Yokota Air Base, Japan. Pacific Air Forces’ units and their Airmen have worked for more than seven decades with other countries in the region to maintain a safe, free and open Indo-Pacific. (Courtesy Photo)

PAC ANGEL 18-4 kicked off health services outreach in Sri Lanka

The health services outreach includes general medical, dental, physical therapy, optometry and pharmaceutical services for the people of Sri Lanka. PAC ANGEL 18-4 fosters partnerships through mutually beneficial activities such as host nation visits and bilateral engagements that provide health services outreach programs. Pacific Angel 18-3 is underway in Vanuatu
