A U.S. Air Force B -2 Spirit aircraft deployed from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., takes flight at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Aug. 15, 2016. More than 200 Airmen and three B-2s deployed from Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., in support of U.S. Pacific Command’s Bomber Assurance and Deterrence (BAAD) missions. The BAAD deployments are part of a long-standing history of maintaining a consistent bomber presence in the Indo-Asia-Pacific in order to maintain regional stability, and provide assurance to our allies and partners in the region.
