U.S. Air Force Maj. Mitzi Elliot works with her team to determine the best way ahead for patient care and treatment during natural disaster response scenario June 9, 2016 in Kampot Province, Cambodia. The team was collaborating on various ideas as part of a subject matter expert exchange that consisted of a public health emergencies course focused on humanitarian assistance and disaster response. Exchanges such as these help build partner capacity and interoperability so nation’s are better prepared to respond to natural disasters in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
