Four U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft fly over Clark Air Base, Philippines, upon return from a maritime domain awareness mission April 28, 2016. The aircraft were based out of Clark Air Base, Philippines for the past two weeks as part of U.S. Pacific Command’s first Air Contingent. The air and maritime domain awareness missions promote interoperability and provide greater and more transparent air and maritime situational awareness ensuring safety for military and civilian activities in international waters and airspace.
