U.S. and PRC Delegates Assemble for Military Maritime Consultative Agreement Talks

JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (Nov. 25, 2015) - Representatives from the U.S. and PRC militaries pose for a group photo prior to the start of the bi-annual Military Maritime Consultative Agreement (MMCA) talks, held Nov. 21-24, at Headquarters, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The bilateral MMCA talks are a long-standing mechanism designed to provide open and transparent communication to address concerns and develop common understanding between U.S. and PRC air and naval forces in order to avoid unsafe incidents and minimize risk.
