Pacific Angel Papua New Guinea 15-4

Warriors dressed as ???Mudmen,??? from the Asaro tribe of the east Papua New Guinea highlands, demonstrate their traditional weapons for Air Force, Navy and Army members from the U.S., New Zealand, Australia and local townspeople near Goroka, Papua New Guinea, May 30, 2015. Each Mudman clothes himself in gray clay before each battle and designs his own mask of sand, pebbles and river mud, which can take several days to complete. The Mudman tradition has its roots in Asaro tribal legend, when the Mudmen disguised themselves in mud to frighten away a rival band of warriors. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
