Target confirmed: precision munitions training comes to Misawa

A U.S. Air Force joint terminal attack controller observes a target during precision-guided munitions training at Draughon Range outside Misawa Air Base, Japan, Jan. 13, 2015. The controllers communicated information to 35th Fighter Wing pilots from Misawa directing them in air strike operations during the first-ever laser guided munition training. Due to new software upgrades linked to the munitions systems, 14 FS pilots were able to drop laser-guided munitions for the first time here. (U.S. Air Force photo by Alyssa C. Wallace/Released)
