U.S. Air Force B-52 trains with RAAF
A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bomber, deployed to Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., lands at Royal Australian Air Force Base Darwin, Australia, Dec. 8, 2014. The aircraft operates out of Andersen as part of U.S. Pacific Command and U.S. Air Force rotational presence in the Pacific. This is the fourth time a B-52 has landed at RAAF Darwin since 2012 and will enhance the United States’ ability to train, exercise and operate with Australia and other partners across the region.
