As the highest mountain in Japan at 12,380 feet, Mount Fuji offers the highest view available in the country and is Japan's most popular tourist attraction, with more than 200,000 hikers ascending to the summit every year. Mount Fuji is also an active volcano, and hikers can visit the caldera at the top of the mountain. (U.S. Air Force photo illustration by Tech. Sgt. Christopher Marasky/Released)
