Approximately 2,000 pairs of glasses were shipped to Tonga for those in need of corrective lenses, Neiafu, Vava'u, July 21, 2014. The optometry clinic was one of four in the healthcare services outreach. The HSO was a part of Operation Pacific Angel-Tonga where, with the help of Red Cross volunteer interpreters, doctors and medical technicians were able to provide acute care and educate patients on preventative health measures for different ailments.
