KONA, Hawaii - Staff Sgt. Jade Huffman, a security forces entry controller assigned to the 736th Security Forces Squadron, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, provides a situation report to ground defense control center personnel during an exercise response scenario at Kona International Airport, Kona, Hawaii, Jan. 28. A native of Wichita, Kan., Sergeant Huffman is one of approximately 900 Department of Defense personnel participating in Pacific Lifeline, a total force humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise taking place from three locations within the Hawaiian Islands through Feb. 9. Led by 13th Air Force, Pacific Lifeline provides an integrated team of Air Force and Army active-duty, Air National Guard and Reserve Component forces a training environment to test their abilities to respond to and support humanitarian and natural disaster relief operations within the Pacific Region.
