OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea - Lt. Gen. Stephen G. Wood, Air Forces Korea Air Component Commander leads air operations for Exercise Key Resolve 2008, a peninsula-wide exercise that kicked off this week. The exercise focuses on the “operational” aspect of air, space and cyberspace operations in the Korean theater of operations. The annual exercise is held in conjunction with Foal Eagle 2008 that kicks off in a few weeks. The purpose of both exercises is to demonstrate resolve to support South Korea against external aggression while improving Korean and U.S. combat readiness and joint/combined interoperability.
