Howie Chandler, Pacific Air Forces commander, and Department of Defense 2008 Enlisted Aide of the Year, adds the last bit of flavoring for his roast pork recipe in preparation for a party at the general’s residence Dec. 12. Food preparation is just one of the many tasks that Sergeant Duclos performs on a daily basis; he also coordinates the care of the lawn, prepares the general’s luggage for trips, works closely with the catering staff of the officer's club, schedules appointments, and goes grocery shopping.
