KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Senior Airman Daniel Boomgarden, 8th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire and Rescue team member, displays a thermal imager to children of local Retired Korean Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) here May 5. The thermal imager is used to detect differences in heat and helps locate victims under smokey conditions during a fire. The base hosted a tour for ROTC members in celebration of Children's Day, a Korean holiday, allowing members and their families an opportunity see an F-16 up close, tour the fire station and K-9 Kennel.
