EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Capt. Bryan Youngers from Miramar Naval Air Station adjusts his flight equipment prior to take off June 19. Capt. Youngers is participating in RED FLAG- Alaska 08-3, taking place here and at Elmendorf Air Force Base. RED FLAG-Alaska is a realistic, 10-day air combat training exercise held up to four times a year. Each RED FLAG-Alaska exercise is a multi-service, multi-platform-coordinated, combat operations exercise and corresponds to the designed operational capability of participating units.
