F-22 Raptors from the 90th Fighter Squadron from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, line the Andersen AFB, Guam, flightline April 15. The 90th FS from Elmendorf completed a three-month deployment to Andersen in April as part of a theater security package. The stealth-fighters, along with associated maintenance and support personnel participated in various exercises that provided routine training in an environment different from their home station. The F-22 is a highly maneuverable combat aircraft that can avoid enemy detection, cruise at supersonic speeds, and provide the joint force commander an unprecedented level of integrated situational awareness.
