Santa Rita, Guam (June 19, 2006) – Maj. Gen Chip Utterback, USAF Deputy Commander, Joint Task Force 519 is joined by Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and Singapore dignitaries for a command brief presented by Capt Janice Wynn, Chief of Staff, Commander Naval Forces Marianas at the Naval Base Guam theatre. The group toured Naval Base Guam and observed demonstrations by Naval Special Warfare Unit One, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit Five, and Mobile Security Squadron Seven. The thirty three foreign dignitaries are currently here to observe the U.S. Pacific Command exercise Valiant Shield 2006 which involves approximately 22,000 Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Soldiers and Coast Guardsmen, one of the largest joint-military exercises in the Pacific in more than a decade.
