ELMENDORF AFB, Alaska -- Airman 1st Class Benjamin Crochet, with the 12th Aircraft Maintenance Unit here, receives detailed information about the mechanics of the landing gear on an F-15 from Staff Sgt. Dwayne Lujan during some down time. All aircraft were on standby due to bad weather during Northern Edge, which concludes June 16. The exercise is one of a series of U.S. Pacific Command exercises this year that prepare joint forces to respond to crises in the Asian Pacific region.
