NORTH POLE, Alaska—Extreme Makeover: Home Edition turned a 900-square-foot North Pole home into a 4,800-square-foot palace in just seven days with the help of hundreds of civilian and military volunteers. More than 250 Airmen volunteered time and labor to help finish the house on schedule. The home’s 13 residents were whisked away to Disneyland for the week and returned just in time for the July 15 unveiling. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Jonathan Snyder)
