EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- A sample of Liquid Oxygen (LOX), which is baby blue in color, boils off during an odor particulate sample test at the cryogenics storage facility here on Dec 20. The LOX is used as the breathing oxygen in aircraft and a sample is taken before each LOX cart is filled to ensure the pilots only receive good oxygen. Cryogenics is controlled by the 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Staff Sgt Joshua Strang)
