KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea Jan. 11, 2007 -- Senior Airman Jason Stanfield, F-117 crew chief, ushers in his aircraft after its arrival here Jan. 11. The aircraft, together with more than 300 Airmen, deployed here recently from Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., as part of a routine air expeditionary force, or AEF rotation. The aircraft, assigned to the 9th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, is part of the third squadron of Kunsan's host unit, the 8th Fighter Wing, during the deployment's duration. The AEF deployment, according to Kunsan officials, "demostrates the continued U.S. commitment to fulfill its security responsibilities throughout the Western Pacific."
