EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- An F-16C, 18th Fighter Squadron, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, refuels from KC-10 Extender, call sign "Shaman Five One" during a refueling mission here on 18 April in support of Red Flag-Alaska 07-1. The KC-10 Extender is from McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey and can refuel using both drouge and probe refueling in a single mission which makes it a very versitile refueling platform. Red Flag-Alaska is a Pacific Air Forces-directed field training exercise for U.S. forces flown under simulated air combat conditions. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Joshua Strang)
