Senior Airman Perris Coleman of the 18th Equipment Maintenance Squadron at Kadena Air Base, Japan, embraces his wife after returning from a 120-day deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan. Airman Coleman was deployed with Kadena’s 33rd Rescue Squadron. While in Afghanistan, the 33rd Rescue Squadron saved 116 lives and flew more than 200 sorties.
