JASF arrives at Eielson

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Members of the 7th Air Wing, (Left-right, 1st Lt. Kunjiro Tashita, Capt Takafumi Komori and Capt Akira Yamanaka) from Japan Air Self-Defense Force complete paperwork for the arrival of six F-15J aircraft here shortly after midnight July 11. The crews will participate in Red Flag-Alaska exercise July 12-27. The exercise is focused on improving the combat readiness of U.S. forces and providing training for units preparing for air expeditionary force taskings.
